MBO Rijnland has over 400 MLO (vocational laboratory) students and wanted to find a partner that could help the students in developing themselves. Together with Talentmark we drafted a program to support the students in their connection with the labour market, better understanding of their own personality and supporting them in networking & the interview process.
Students rate our sessions as “highly interesting & suitable”. Additionally, the teachers are glad to have this public & private partnership. Students are better prepared for work, and companies in the vicinity can tap into our networks for their benefit.
We see the students from year 1 to year 4, in each year we discuss different topics depending on the need in that year. On average we see every student 8 times before they graduate and are therefore connected with the students. Additionally, we share the career possibilities specifically in the private sector since the public domain is usually quiet known within the educational bodies. We do this via events like “meet the companies”, workshops &Talentmark Impact Award.
