As a buyer, you are part of the Procurement department. You are responsible for purchasing products and services for operational purposes as well as for research and development, in compliance with current Dutch and European regulations. You may also contribute to training colleagues in other departments, such as Marketing, Sales, Laboratory, and Manufacturing, on how to meet their purchasing needs and responsibilities. You will negotiate with suppliers, compare quotes, and ensure that everything your organization requires is available on time and within budget. This could range from ordering laboratory supplies for the R&D department to procuring new software for the IT department.
