• Addressing customer complaints or feedback, developing appropriate corrective actions, and documenting/reporting progress;
• Identifying any training requirements to meet quality standards and delivering that training to relevant personnel.

Education and skills for a Quality Assurance Manager

Educational requirements start with a relevant bachelor’s degree, and in many cases, a technical degree or postgraduate qualification is necessary. Ongoing training, such as Six Sigma or courses in quality engineering, quality auditing, and quality improvement, is often expected.

The skills and experience should cover tools, terminology, and methodologies used in quality assurance.
