Within this international pharmaceutical organization, medicines are labelled, assembled, stored, and eventually shipped to various countries worldwide. You will work in a diverse environment with colleagues from different nationalities, contributing to high-quality supply chain processes, manufacturing activities and the delivery of medicines to patients around the world.

As Associate QA, you will be part of the Incoming Quality Assurance team, where you will be mainly responsible for sampling, inspection, review, and release of incoming materials before these are used in labelling and packaging operations.

This is a part-time position of 24 hours per week (3 days) and is fully onsite. Working on Fridays is mandatory, as this is the busiest day due to peak delivery activities. The other two working days can be arranged flexibly within the team.

From January until May, there is the possibility to work full-time. After this period, the position will continue with a minimum of three days per week, with potential opportunities to expand depending on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that all incoming materials meet procedural requirements for release, thereby upholding high standards for Quality and Compliance
• Execute sampling, inspection, review, and release of incoming materials: printed and non-printed packaging components
• Collect data and initiate follow up with internal stakeholders and/or suppliers to resolve issues
• Perform additional sampling and inspection of components as needed
• Perform damage inspection on received components as needed
• Provide QA oversight for the receiving component process

The Associate QA professional we seek is a collaborator with an eye for detail and a strong quality mindset.

We are open to both enthusiastic starters and people with previous experience. Experience within Quality Assurance or Quality Control is an advantage, but not a requirement. This role is a great starting position for someone who wants to learn more about the pharmaceutical industry and develop within a regulated environment.

Relevant backgrounds can include:

• Pharmaceutical industry experience
• Food industry experience
• Other regulated production environments

Your motivation, communication skills and ability to learn are just as important as your educational background.

Qualifications

• MBO, Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience
• Experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Control is a plus, but not mandatory
• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and/or Good Distribution Practice (GDP) is beneficial, but can also be learned on the job
• Fluent in English language, both verbal and written

Contract & availability

• One-year contract, with the possibility of extension based on performance and business needs
• Start date: ASAP preferred. Someone with a one-month notice period are also considered
• Due to the onsite nature of the role, we are looking for people who are comfortable commuting to the location on a daily basis
