Technical Operator

At this international pharmaceutical manufacturing site in Breda, medicines are labeled, assembled, stored, and shipped to countries around the world. Every day, more than 1,000 colleagues from over 40 nationalities contribute to supply chain operations, manufacturing, marketing and sales of medicines, and clinical research into new therapies.

What you will do As a Technical Operator, you are responsible for operating and optimizing semi-automated production lines within a GMP-regulated manufacturing environment. You ensure production runs safely, efficiently, and according to quality standards by monitoring equipment performance, resolving technical issues, and contributing to continuous improvement.

In this role as Technical Operator, you will:

  • Operate and monitor semi-automated production lines
  • Perform equipment set-ups, changeovers, line clearances, and cleaning activities
  • Troubleshoot technical and process-related issues to restore optimal equipment performance
  • Carry out minor maintenance and equipment adjustments
  • Accurately document production activities and verify data in SAP and MES systems
  • Support deviation investigations and triage activities
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and structured problem-solving methodologies
  • Ensure compliance with GMP, safety, and quality requirements throughout the production process

What we expect from you
You combine technical insight with a hands-on mentality and enjoy solving technical challenges in a highly regulated manufacturing environment.

  • MBO education and/or a technical background
  • Experience in an automated production environment, preferably within assembly, labeling, or packaging
  • Strong technical and process understanding
  • Analytical mindset with experience in troubleshooting methodologies such as RCA or 5 Why
  • Experience working according to standard operating procedures and work instructions (GMP experience is preferred)
  • Familiarity with SAP and/or MES systems
  • Interest in continuous improvement and Lean methodologies
  • Fluent in English
  • Willing to work in a 3-shift schedule
