David Nolan
Having originally trained in PR and Communications, David started his early career in sales, marketing and sales management before entering the recruitment industry. For over a decade, David has specialised in life-sciences/pharmaceutical recruitment.
David takes responsibility for service delivery across Talentmark’s portfolio of solutions, working with clients to design and deliver integrated recruitment projects. David also delivers international senior management and board level executive search assignments across the industry.
William Neilson
A clinician by background who has worked in the pharmaceutical industry for over 25 years, with experience in senior executive positions in drug development and general management, encompassing assignments in Europe, Far East & the USA, working in both large multinational and smaller international family businesses.
Qualified in Medicine at the Westminster Hospital London after a BSc in Biochemistry at University College London. Master of Public Health and a Fellow of the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Medicine. Practised Medicine in the UK and South Africa before entering the pharmaceutical industry.
Richard Adams
Over 30 years' experience in the pharmaceutical and life science industries working in senior commercially-focused international roles including marketing, business development, country and regional management for major blue chip multinational corporations.
For the past 14 years has worked in international executive recruitment and handles appointments across the board, specialising in senior-level international management positions in life sciences and non-executive board appointments.
Keith Thrower
A graduate in chemistry and with a doctorate in molecular biology from the University of Oxford, Keith worked for over 35 years in the pharmaceutical industry and as a consultant. He has extensive experience in the management and organisation of drug discovery and development, working as European R&D Director for a major international pharma company. He has been active in the Pharmaceutical Industry Association and similar bodies, including chairing a working party on the assessment of Qualified Persons.
For the past ten years he has worked in executive recruitment, handling senior-level appointments in scientific and technical areas – including discovery research, preclinical development, regulatory affairs, manufacturing, clinical trials supplies and quality – for a wide range of pharma and biotech companies, CROs and other organisations across Europe and beyond.
Dafydd Wright
Dafydd is Manager, Talentmark Interims.
With a degree in microbiology, Dafydd started his career as a research scientist. He has spent the last 10 years in the life sciences recruitment industry with the last 4.5 years in Interim Management. In 2010, Dafydd was awarded Interim Recruiter of the Year by Paul Botting then Chairman of the Interim Management Association on behalf of REC. He has a track record of delivering creative approaches to complex interim management briefs, providing clients with the resources to move their organisations forward with effective and stable teams.
Ben Northfield
Ben has over twelve years experience in corporate business development. His early career developed in new media services working with some of the world's leading brands. Ben has been working in the Pharmaceutical industry since 2005 specialising in clinical recruitment and at Talentmark Ben leads the International Clinical Research and Operations recruitment division.
Mark Johnson
Mark is Talentmark’s Managing Consultant for Quality & Regulatory Science.
A graduate in applied biology, Mark’s experience includes appointments in scientific and technical areas – including Quality, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Process Development, R&D and Regulatory. Knowledgeable about a wide range of industry areas, Mark’s expertise covers the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, consumer healthcare, medical device and generics sectors for global companies. Prior to his work in the recruitment sector, Mark spent five years with an international vaccines manufacturer.
Amber Burns
Executive Search Consultant at Talentmark, Amber has been in the recruitment industry for eight years and has spent the last six handling international executive search assignments in Clinical Development and Medical Affairs throughout the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, diagnostic and service sectors. With an extensive network and track record of helping leading organisations build high performing Medical Affairs and Clinical Development teams, Amber delivers execeptional results for her clients.
Marcus Metcalfe
Marcus graduated from Leeds Metropolitan University in 1999 and has since focused his career within the pharmaceutical and medical devices sectors. In addition to his eight years in specialist recruitment , Marcus spent three years working for Johnson & Johnson in sales & marketing. At Talentmark, Marcus focuses on HEOR, Pricing, Market Access, Communications and PR.
Steve Mason
Following a degree in Applied Science, Steve had a very successful career in the music industry with 10 Top 40 hit singles. Steve initially entered the recruitment industry back in 2000 with his initial focus on Insurance & Compliance sectors. Steve continued his career in pharmaceutical sales & marketing recruitment before joining Talentmark in 2009 to specialise in Medical Affairs and Pharmacovigilance. Steve handles international recruitment for permanent and freelance projects.
Diego Sanchez
Having studied computing and software engineering Diego entered the Recruitment industry in 2003. His initial recruitment experience focused on the healthcare delivery sector. At Talentmark, Diego focuses on assignments within Quality and Regulatory Science, handling international roles with a broad exposure across Europe and the Middle East.
