Biographies

William Neilson

William Neilson

A clinician by background who has worked in the pharmaceutical industry for over 20 years, with experience in senior executive positions in drug development and general management, encompassing assignments in Europe, Far East & the USA, working in both large multinational & smaller international family businesses.

Qualified in Medicine at the Westminster Hospital London after a BSc in Biochemistry at University College London. Master of Public Health and a Fellow of the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Medicine. Practiced Medicine  in the UK & South Africa before entering the pharmaceutical industry.

Bill Steggals

Bill Steggals

Over 30 years' experience in the pharmaceutical and CRO industries working in senior roles from marketing, business development and country management, through technical training and consultancy, to global leadership and organisational development. Lectures annually on the Aston University Business School MBA programme on competency evaluation and the cultural impact of recruitment in the international healthcare environment. Authored the most recent update of the BMA publication 'The Pharmaceutical Physician'.

For the past 12 years has worked in executive recruitment, and handles appointments across the board,   with specialisation in senior-level international medical, clinical research, regulatory affairs and associated positions.

Richard Adams

Richard Adams

Over 30 years' experience in the pharmaceutical and life science industries working in senior commercially-focused international roles including marketing, business development, country and regional management for major blue chip multinational corporations.

For the past 8 years has worked in international executive recruitment, and handles appointments across the board, with specialisation in senior-level international management positions in life sciences and non-executive board appointments.

 

David Nolan

David Nolan

Having originally trained in PR & Communications, David developed his early career in Sales, Marketing and Sales Management within start-up and large blue-chip organisations before entering technology recruitment. Since 2001, David has specialised solely within lifesciences/pharmaceutical recruitment.

At Talentmark, David takes responsibility for the day to day running of the business and works with key clients to design and deliver complex-integrated recruitment projects.

 

 

Keith Thrower

Keith Thrower

A graduate in chemistry and with a doctorate in molecular biology from the University of Oxford, Keith worked for over 35 years in the pharmaceutical industry and as a consultant. He has extensive experience in the management and organisation of drug discovery and development, working as European R&D Director for a major international pharma company. He has been active in the pharma industry association and similar bodies, including chairing a working party on the assessment of Qualified Persons.

For the past ten years he has worked in executive recruitment, handling senior-level appointments in scientific and technical areas - including discovery research, preclinical development, regulatory affairs, manufacturing, clinical trials supplies and quality - for a wide range of pharma and biotech companies, CROs and other organisations across Europe and beyond.

Sharon Shields

Sharon Shields

Over 10 years' experience in the pharmaceutical industry working within Pharmaceutical Microbiology and then Product Development for one of the top 10 pharma companies, Sharon developed her career within the R&D function.

For the past five years, she has worked in recruitment, including a period working in-house for a major US pharmaceutical company. Responsible for project managing all the research activities within Talentmark, Sharon handles search assignments across the board specialising in mid-level international medical, clinical research, regulatory affairs, medical writing and associated positions.

Melanie West

Melanie West

Melanie holds an MSc in Neuroscience and a PhD in Genetics and Biochemistry from the University of London. Prior to entering recruitment Melanie held a Research post at the The Natural History Museum in London.

Since joining the recruitment field in 2003, Melanie has worked on pre-clinical, development, clinical and medical roles within pharmaceutical, biotech, CRO and medical devices organisations. At Talentmark, Melanie specialises in the placement of R&D professionals across Europe and beyond.

 

Louise McNeill

Louise McNeill

Louise has a BA from Melbourne University and an MSc in Psychology complemented by other post graduate studies. With over 10 years' experience in recruitment, Louise has spent the last 4+ years specialising in the pharmaceutical arena.

Louise has extensive experience delivering a range of recruitment solutions to Pharmaceutical, Devices, Consulting and Service organisations across UK, Europe and the USA. These projects have covered the full pharmaceutical product lifecycle.

Chris Bouffard

Chris Bouffard

Having originally studied French at Exeter University, Chris entered the classical music production business where he spent several years before entering the recruitment industry in 2001.

For the past three years, Chris has specialised in the recruitment of Permanent, Contract and Freelance Clinical Research professionals in the UK and Europe.

Beatrice Cosson

Beatrice Cosson

Beatrice is a qualified Pharmacist with an MBA from the Sorbonne. Beatrice commenced her career in Community Pharmacy before moving into sales and business development.

She started her recruitment career in 2002 in France. Over the past 4 years Beatrice has handled assignments across Europe within pre-clinical, clinical research, regulatory and medical affairs.

Philippe Monchecourt

Philippe Monchecourt

Philippe holds an MSc in Physiology and Pharmacology, and an MA in Marketing and Management. He commenced his career in Research at INSERM in Lyon before moving into Project Management and Marketing roles for blue chip companies in both the UK and France.

Philippe has over 3 years' experience in recruitment and at Talentmark specialises in clinical research appointments across Europe.
