Talentmark's 2011 Charity Hike
Talentmark is delighted to announce the launch of its 2011 charity hike.
The hike, which this year marks the company’s 40th anniversary, will focus on conquering three challenging peaks in the French alps in one day: the 2222m Dent Doche at Bernex before breakfast, the 2342m climb of Cornettes de Bise at La Chapelle D’Abondance and 2432m at Mont de Grange, Chatel. The climb, which will take place on 8th October, will cover an ascent of over 3000m and include spectacular views of local scenery and wildlife and the famous Mont Blanc.
Talentmark has a history of charity hikes and last year a small but dedicated team scaled three of the most challenging mountains in the UK climbing Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowden in 24 hours. The event raised over £1600 for Great Ormond Street Hospital.
David Nolan, CEO of Talentmark comments, “We’re planning to build on an exciting and successful hike in 2010 with an even more challenging climb this year in the French alps. As it is Talentmark’s 40th anniversary, we are planning a series of events to raise even more money for this year. This year’s chosen charity is the Shooting Star Children’s Hospice and Chase Hospice Care for Children (www.shootingstarchase.org.uk). This amazing charity supports 500 families with a child or teenager not expected to reach their 19th birthday in West London, Surrey and West Sussex in the United Kingdom.
