Company
Our Client is a biopharmaceutical company focused on the discovery and development of innovative medicines for the treatment of eye disease, vascular disease, and cancer.
Our lead product has completed two successful Phase III clinical trials for the pharmacological treatment of symptomatic vitreomacular adhesion (sVMA). Our Client will commercialize this product via its own dedicated sales force in the United States and in Europe.
Key Responsibilities
POSITION PURPOSE:
A sound market access strategy is critical to the launch of any new pharmaceutical brand in
Europe. The candidate will have to identify the needs and decision pathways of the non-clinical
stakeholders (national and local decision-makers, policy makers and budget-holders), as well as influence the traditional clinical decision-maker or ‘KOL’.
The candidate will be located in France and will report to the Global Head of Market Access.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Contributes to establishing, influencing and maintaining a network including health economists, payers, payer advisors, clinical opinion leaders, policy makers and patient groups.
• Initiates the most effective and timely strategy to obtain Market Access for their lead product
• Provides support to the Marketing strategies of product, understanding the critical importance of both national and local Market Access for business success.
• Establishes a Market Access advisory network including health economic and clinical opinions leaders.
• Initiates and organizes high level events (eg advisory boards, stakeholder summit meeting) to support market access activities.
• In collaboration with Clinical Research, provides input to global clinical development plans to ensure delivery of data necessary for optimal reimbursement.
