Background
Programme Director - Strategic, Client facing role (Unlicensed Medines)
Our Client is seeking a motivated and dynamic Programme Director to join their Managed Access Solutions team based in the SE UK. In this customer-facing role, the Programme Director will be responsible for leading the delivery of new and existing patient access programmes for key pharmaceutical and biotech accounts and developing long term strategic partnerships. As the most senior contact for key accounts, the Programme Director will interact with clients to ensure and facilitate the delivery of a successful program; provide value adding service solutions to meet clients’ needs; identify scope enhancements from existing programmes and new business opportunities; and collaborate with Business Development to maximise future sales opportunities. Additional responsibilities include mapping timelines and project plans for programme launches; contributing to programme scoping, proposals, pricing, and contract reviews; finalizing operational procedures; monitoring activity and performance against contracted programme requirements; and analysing client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will possess a relevant science or business degree; prior senior level experience managing global, biopharmaceutical companies as key accounts; demonstrated commercial awareness; negotiation skills; and a track record of successfully leading multifaceted projects. Demonstrated leadership abilities; excellent relationship building and networking skills; strong financial acumen; good project planning and management skills; and highly effective communication skills are also required. Experience working in a CRO would be advantageous.
